After a short article for Dutch photography-magazine Focus, the publisher decided to make a book specifically for the DSLR cinematographer. It can be used as a guideline for photographers that want to know more about the in’s en out’s of filming with a DSLR. Writing this book was a dream come true as the DSLR had shocked (my) film and TV world with its new possibilities.
The book handles Canon, Nikon, Sony, Panasonic and other cameras and can be used by all enthusiasts and is easily divided in beginners and advanced sections.
My main focus was to keep the technology connected to the creativity. In the end the creativity is the reason for your camera-settings and not the button itself.
The book is for sale (in Dutch) via the publishers website: https://focusmedia.nl/inkijken/filmen-met-je-fotocamera.html
The English version will be available later; keep in touch or check this website regularly.
